Crossfit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All Crossfit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, and more.
Overall, the aim of Crossfit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness supported by measurable, observable and repeatable results.
Is CrossFit really for everyone?
When I am asked the question, “Is CrossFit really for everyone?” I generally encourage the asker to come try it out.
CrossFit is infinitely scalable to meet anyone’s body type, lifestyle, age, or fitness level.
“Scalability” is a word that you will hear frequently here at CrossFit Nafpaktos. During each class, everyone does the same workout, but that workout will always have several scaling options. This makes it possible for all of us – with our different body types, personal goals and levels of ability – to work alongside one another safely. We motivate one another, cheer one another on, and sometimes participate in some healthy competition. But, ultimately, every workout is yours alone. Your workout = your pace.
